Cindy & George Besio are an easy going married team of 20 years.  George is the imaginative sculptor of metal art.  He uses watch gears, tiny screws and other tiny piece of metal (and I mean tiny) to melt metal or solder while shaping at the same time.  Mind you the metal hardens in seconds not monites.  Cindy won 2nd Place Overall at the Inverness Fine Arts Festival for a new technique she tried.  She was bested by a bed pan bird though, she is very proud.  Cindy is the jeweler using and medium she feels like using on that particular day.  Just ask her she'll tell you she has an ecclectic style and it all depends on what she feels on that day as to the finished art piece.

They are both driven by an incredible passion for self-expression through art. Her works are often noted for their unique style, elegance, and technique. Cindy has developed an unique style that is never seen twice.  She has tried to capture the same look on request, but she has never been able to do it.  Her use of vibrant colors and strong lines make her work an excellent choice for a wide range of projects and purposes. Cindy is accomplished in using traditional methods as well as modern technique. Wire wrapping, beading, soldered pieces, fused glass, you name it she'll try it and if she doesn't like it she won't try again.

George will finish his piece and leave it gun metal grey or use an eye lash to add dimension with acrylic paint.  You really have to see it to believe it.  I don't think anything is bigger than a dime.

George creates from his head, but he can take requests.  He also carves stones that he cuts from boxes of rocks he orders, or river rock from the yard.  He just finished his latest best piece; a panther head on one side and a lion's head on the other.  Outstanding, really!
